Vintage.Nights & Classic.Air RSS

Sharpened minds, sharper tongues
We wave goodbye to the skylines
Vintage nights have just begun.
We’ll embrace the fears of the nightlife
The horizon seems to bring us every time
& even though our minds stay clear
Our hearts seem to be drawn to classic air.

I feel like I’m one of like 7 people that haven’t so much as thought to consider Fall Out Boy as sell-outs. The minute a band does something that some selfish “fan” hadn’t thought of first, the band sucks. Here’s my view:

Sell-out: n1. an artist/band that is so money-hungry that they just put out any media that will sell like iPods. 2. an artist/band that forgets about all of the fans that got them where the are now and instead focuses on making money rather than making music that they believe in.

Fall Out Boy: n. 1. an incredible Illinois band that couldn’t possibly be sell-outs for one simple reason: When someone asks a friend “Hey have you heard of Fall Out Boy?” and they say, “No, what do they sound like?”, the only thing you can say is, “Uh.. um.. well, ummm.. Fall Out Boy.”

I rest my case, folks. =]
